Что такое Writing Task 2?
- Вторая часть письменной части IELTS.
- Дается одно эссе на академическую/социальную тему.
- Нужно написать минимум 250 слов за 40 минут.
- Эссе должно быть аргументированным и логичным.
📌 Типы эссе (5 типов заданий)
- Opinion Essay (Agree/Disagree)
➤ Нужно выразить мнение и его обосновать.
- Discussion Essay
➤ Обсудить две противоположные точки зрения и выразить своё мнение.
- Problem/Solution Essay
➤ Выявить проблему, причины и предложить решения.
- Advantages/Disadvantages Essay
➤ Описать плюсы и минусы чего-либо.
- Double Question Essay
➤ Ответить на два прямых вопроса по теме.
📌 Критерии оценивания (Band Descriptors)
Каждый критерий даёт до 9 баллов. Все равнозначны.
- Task Response — насколько хорошо ты раскрыл вопрос.
- Coherence and Cohesion — логичность и связность текста.
- Lexical Resource — словарный запас.
- Grammatical Range and Accuracy — грамматическая точность и разнообразие.

📌 Что такое Opinion Essay?
Тебя просят выразить согласие или несогласие с утверждением.
Вопрос может звучать так:
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
🎯 Главная цель — выразить чёткую позицию (agree / disagree / partially agree) и подкрепить её аргументами.
📌 Возможные позиции
- Полностью согласен — I completely agree
- Полностью не согласен — I totally disagree
- Частично согласен — I agree to some extent, but...
💡 Советуем на экзамене выбирать либо полное согласие, либо полное несогласие — проще структурировать.

For example, commercials frequently suggest that owning the latest smartphone or fashionable clothing is essential for success or happiness. As a result, individuals may feel pressured to spend money on things that do not add real value to their lives.
Body Paragraph 2:
Moreover, advertising promotes a culture of materialism by constantly exposing people to idealized lifestyles. Although the products may seem appealing, they rarely bring long-term satisfaction. It could be argued that advertisements exploit human emotions to boost sales.
